Klip uf dee Dayy

My good friend Tim Armour flew in to town today. I'm psyched that he's here because of all my friends, he's probably been out here the least. He came out three years ago for a week and hasn't been back since. He's a good dude and a simple man. He seems to be usually happy with things just the way they are and I like that in a man. He'll probably be one of the final visitors to my shithole of a hellhole of an apartment. So today's clip of the day is in honor of him being in town, it's him eating shit probably five years ago trying a wierd hippie jump. He made it, and I have the footage of it, but I choose to use the fall because that's what we wanna see.

Lee Bender.

There is a new Lee Bender interview out there on the web. I don't know if any of my loyal audience wouldn't already know about this, but here it is.

http://typicalculture.com/articles/lee%20bender/

Lee is fucking rad. he got dealt a shitty hand, but he's making the best of it. Which is inspriational if nothing else.<

Clip of duh day tuday.....

this is my little buddy tyson slamming on his face at my work. This little boy knows no pain and has no idea how to skate slow. Which is pretty awesome, and makes for some awesome slamms. The best part is when preston claps... what a dick.

Clip of duh Day.

My first clip of duh day is by my little buddy Ryan Reyes. He might live under the stairs, but he refuses to let people walk all over him. eessh.. Anyway, little wallies like this one are as easy as pie for him but I still like to see it.

Down for Life.

I stole this picture from another blog. My new friend Phil says that blogs are all "me, me, me." Well, in the case of my blog, he couldn't be more right.

Anyone who's on the fence about me should definitely check out Buzzy Sullivan's bloggy and then make their final decision.

You can't run from who you are.

I don't know what I was thinking saying that I wasn't going to drink soda. I should have known better than to even make a post about it. So I quit for two days(almost three) and then I decided to break soda edge and drink a mountain dew at about 11pm the other night. At about 4:30 am while I was sitting nervously awake in bed I decided that drinking it was a bad idea.

So now it's a few days later and I've been drinking soda, but not as much. I'm definitely not back up to my pre-quit levels. No one should drink as much soda as I was drinking. I was foolish to think that I could escape the clutches of such an evil villain. A while back, my friend Ari wrote a poem about my addiction to Mountain Dew on his refrigerator. At the time that I read this poem, I thought it was a joke, now I know that true-er words were never arranged on a refrigerator with magnets.

I don't know what I'm talking about. Watch the Kitten video again and make sure you laugh out loud when she says "double head." I feel like that video could change anyone's mind who doesn't want kids.

I caved.

Two full days without soda wasn't bad. I went back to my old ways again tonight and drank some soda with my dinner. Fuck it. I was bummed out and so I did what people do when they're bummed out about things, I drank.

I'm sick of grown men acting like babies, I'm sick of being broke, I'm sick of the economy making everyone poor, I'm sick of blind girls, I'm sick people getting special treatment, I'm sick of worrying about money. Take me back to camp and let me hang with some kids. At least they're funny when they whine and cry.

Paul Baribeau

My friend, Peter, from camp showed me this guy's music. Paul Baribeau. It's pretty emo and wussy, but so am I, so I like it. I don't know much about him. I think he's from the midwest.

I've been awake for about an hour and haven't had a soda yet. haha.

Putting myself to the test.

I've avoided a lot of common vices in my life by simply not starting them in the first place. Through abstinence, I've successfully avoided getting caught up in senseless addictions to cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and girls for my entire life. But I have one weakness, one vice, one thing that has over powered me for years and years: my stupid addiction to soda. The Devil's Children's drink. Grampa's grandkid's medicine. The Sweet Sauce. One too many times I've tried to drown my sorrows in a one liter bottle of coke, but all that awaits me at the bottom of the bottle is a long night of caffine induced insomnia that causes me to stay up late, and sleep most of the day, just to wake up already thirsty for my next cold one.

I've gone months without the Evil Elixer in the past, but that was years ago. I've always been proud of myself for keeping away from things that I think are bad for me. Abstaining from things is one thing, but quitting something that I've already started will be a real test of willpower.

I'm somewhat kidding about the soda thing. I do drink way too much soda, and lately I have been drinking more than my usual. So I'm going to give a valiant effort at quitting and see what happens. There is a really good chance that I am full of shit and will drink a Mountain Dew or Coke within an hour of waking up tomorrow afternoon. But if I do stick to my guns, I'm sure I'll feel better physically, I'll hopefully save some money, and maybe I'll lose some weight. I just weighed myself and at this moment, I weigh 450 pounds. I'll way myself after a few days of no soda and see if it makes a difference.

Wish me luck. I'm going to keep some updates on my progress. And who knows, if I can quit soda, maybe I can quit: biting my nails, fingerboarding, talking shit about people behind their backs, compulsive lying (I'm not a compulsive liar), spending money that I don't have, eating pizza every day, falling in love with every girl that I talk to, texting, living in the past, degressing in skateboarding, borrowing money from family and friends, etc etc.

Thankful to myself....

......... for never having started drinking or doing drugs. I'm glad that I always know and understand exactly what I am doing. I'm glad that I'm never apologizing for things that I don't remember doing. I'm glad my walls don't have holes punched in them. I'm glad that I can take responsibility for everything that I do and say. I'm glad that I regret almost nothing in my entire life. I'm glad that I can deal with problems with a clear head. I'm glad that my parents aren't worried about me. I'm glad that I am in control of my entire life. I hope I can be a good influence on someone.

i saw this band open for Kimya Dawson last year. People tell me that I listen to girl music. I don't know what that means or if it's true. Either way, I just discovered this music video today so here you go.

Think twice about fighting me you monkeys.

In honor of the fact that over the last few months I've come somewhat close to getting into three different fights with strangers, I decided to scare some of these suckers off with a little lesson in what's coming to them. This is a video of my first big hockey fight when I was a little kid. See if you can figure out which one is me?? I'll give you a hint: no one wanted to mess with me much after this video surfaced!

couldn't have said it better myself.

This is kinda long, but my devout followers will listen to it. Usually Adam Carolla is pretty funny but in this he's dead serious and I couldn't agree with him more.

a pile of some of my favorite video parts from my time.
